Information for Graduate students and Junior Scholars<\/h2>\n

Special Event: Graduate Student Social at the Underground<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There is no fee for this event, but attendance is limited to those who signed up during online registration.<\/p>\n

The Opening Night Meet & Greet will be held at The Underground on campus. There will be a complimentary BBQ buffet and a cash bar.<\/p>\n

\nMenu:<\/strong> BBQ Buffet.<\/p>\n

Buffet includes: beef, turkey, and veggie burgers; mix green salad; potato salad. Gluten free options available.<\/p>\n

M(e[a]t) a Professor: IRSCL Mentorship Lunch Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\nLocation<\/strong>: Winters Dining Room and Founders Dining Room<\/p>\n

During the lunch break on July 30th, we will be running the \u201cM(e[a]t) a Professor Mentorship\u201d event to match graduate students and junior scholars with established scholars to build networking relationships. We are encouraging mentors and those seeking mentors to bring questions and advice to share over lunch: we envision the meetings will be a wonderful opportunity to network for both up-and-coming and established scholars in the fields of children\u2019s and young adult literature and childhood studies<\/p>\n
